Absolutely! One of the questions I get asked all the time as a Clemson senior photographer is: “Can I bring someone with me to my senior session?”

And my answer is always the same — yes, yes, and yes.

Your senior session isn’t just about the photos. It’s about celebrating a huge milestone. You’ve worked hard for this moment. You’ve poured time, energy, late nights, early mornings, and probably more coffee than you’d like to admit into earning this degree. This chapter deserves to be documented in a way that feels personal and meaningful to you. And sometimes, that means bringing someone special along with you.

Why Bringing Someone Makes Your Session Even More Special

Your senior session is about you — but it’s also about the people (and pets!) who have been part of this chapter.

🐶 Bringing Your Pet

Your dog has probably been your emotional support through exams and study sessions, so why wouldn’t they be part of this celebration? Including your pet adds personality and tells a more complete story of your college experience.

🤍 Bringing Your Significant Other

Your time in college may have included falling in love, building a relationship, and growing alongside someone. Adding a few photos together can beautifully capture that part of your journey.

👨‍👩‍👧 Bringing Your Family

Your parents or family members may have supported you every step of the way — financially, emotionally, spiritually, or all of the above. Inviting them to join for a few photos is such a meaningful way to honor their role in getting you here.

It’s Still Your Senior Session

Bringing someone doesn’t take away from your spotlight. We’ll still capture all the classic cap-and-gown shots, the fun campus moments, and those frame-worthy portraits that feel completely and authentically you.

But adding a few shared moments? That’s where the magic happens.

The laughs between poses.
The proud parent hug.
The quick kiss on the cheek.
The dog who refuses to sit still.

Those candid moments often become the favorites. So if you’re wondering whether you should bring someone along?

Do it.

Celebrate big.
Celebrate fully.
Celebrate with those who helped you get here.

Because this chapter deserves to be remembered — together.
